well, its friday afternoon, and i am trying to put together the worship service for the high schoolers tonite, lots of prep.....so this will be quick...

well, i have been meaning to invest in a company called applied digital solutions.....because they were a really cheap rate because their approval by the FDA was pending.....

well, this last month has been crazy busy, so i wasnt paying attention until yesterday i see they were approved....i had one hour to get to work and before the market closed, so i strapped on my rollerblades and flew down to my bank with my brokerage (sp?) account......dropped some money in from my checking account and bought the stock at $4 dollars a share.....so, it is now up %20 today!! woohoo.....just in time.....plus i made it to work with time to spare.....

oh, and one more bit of good news....since the manager at work hasn't been able to schedule an interview with me to meet the district manager, he decided to just promote me w/o the interview! and what's more, he is going to make my raise retroactive from 2 weeks ago!.....wooohoooo!!!! now it comes to me being thankful and giving God the first fruits.  tithing has always been difficult for me. i like to lean on the "i'm a poor college student" crutch and justify myself by claiming i am a good steward of what i have (which i am for the most part)....but i have been really convicted lately that i dont worship God through my tithes and offerings.  it all changes today....He has blessed me with far too much for me to not be thankful.....so as of today i commit to giving God 10% of everything i am blessed with financially.......it would be good if anyone who reads this would ask me if i am baing faithful to my word. let my yes be my yes and my no be my no.
